I stumbled upon an interesting find when I stopped in to the solar store in Auburn
and started sharing some ideas I had on integrating geothermal heat exchange simply into a new construction home. The reply I recieved from one of the solar experts was "yeah thats called an Earthship, google it! " So I did.
To my surprise was this guy Mike Reynolds an architech that has been building sustainable living for 30 years. Quite an interesting character. My wife purchased for me as a gift volume 1 of 3 for plans on building a simple home of his study. I also ordered a recent documentary done for the past few years of his work.
I thought this information to be very noteworthy and real!
So far this fisrt volume is the only one I have read so far! Very informative, my wife & I are ready to build!!
